How to prepare the installation site?
Before installing a dishwasher, ensure that the area is clear and free of any obstructions. If there is an old dishwasher already installed, remove it along with all the hoses that come with it. Once the old unit is removed, there should be one or two openings in your cabinet for the water supply hose and drain hose. These holes are usually located on the sidewall near the sink. Make sure that you have a power source, such as a wall socket or a wire that is divided into black, white and green (line, neutral and ground)
Connect a dishwasher to the power source
Before you install the dishwasher, it’s important to lay it on its side and put a towel or blanket underneath it to avoid scratching the floor. This will allow you to easily access the water supply connection and electrical box. Before using the dishwasher, make sure that the power supply is off.
