Payment Terms
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. A monthly late fee of 2% of the total outstanding amount may be charged on overdue payments.
Accepted payment methods include:
Credit card
Debit card
Interac e-Transfer
All services and parts are subject to H.S.T.
Diagnostic Fee
A non-refundable diagnostic fee is charged for all diagnostic appointments, regardless of whether the appliance is repaired.
At its discretion, SRT may credit the diagnostic fee toward the final invoice if the repair is performed within 7 days of diagnosis.
Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 2 hours in advance.
A cancellation fee may apply for missed or last-minute cancellations.
Warranty
SRT warrants that services will be performed with reasonable care and skill.
Labour warranty: 30 days
Parts warranty: 90 days
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, negligence, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.
Parts warranty does not include labour replacement.
Refund & Repair Outcome
If an appliance is determined to be not repairable, SRT may, at its discretion, refund labour and parts costs paid.
A 35% restocking fee applies to returned parts
Installed parts are non-returnable
Parts Availability
Parts are subject to availability. SRT is not liable for delays caused by suppliers or manufacturers.
Advance payment may be required for special-order parts
If service is cancelled after parts are ordered, a 35% restocking fee applies
Access & Safety
Customers must provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the appliance.
SRT reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
A service fee may apply if proper access is not provided.
Limitation of Liability
SRT ApplianceFix Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking or accepting service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Privacy Policy and Service Terms.
Consumer Rights (Ontario)
For information about your rights and obligations under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, contact the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery.
